About GEIA Membership

     The Glen Echo Improvement Association encourages lake residents to join the Association. In addition to regular newsletters, meetings, and fundraisers, the Association is actively involved in a variety of lake-related issues. Some of these include lake weed management and water quality monitoring conducted by Solitude, and the compilation and distribution of the Boating Rules and Courtesies.

     Dues:

         • $30 per year per household (maximum of two votes per household)

         • OR $450 for a lifetime membership (non-transferable)

         • All dues are due by April 1 of each year

     Gate Key:

         • $12 one-time fee

     We suggest a $70 per year weed fund contribution to help pay for the lake management weed treatment program conducted by Solitude. This is a voluntary contribution that is tax-deductible. GEIA is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation.
